WOHAA stands for the “Wings of Hope Achievement Award”, a scheme that gets you and your friends to come up with creative and inventive ways of fundraising on behalf of the Wings of Hope Children’s Charity.

The Wings of Hope sponsors the free education of children in India and Malawi and also runs WOHAA in the UK for you.

In 2004, the founders of the charity, Dr R Sri Ram and Mrs Rajni Sriram enlisted a team of gap year students – our Student Team - to come up with an award which:

recognised and rewarded student fundraising, whilst ripenening key skills in communication, entrepreneurship, leadership and teamwork.

So the Student Team designed and created WOHAA, for you: an award: BY students, FOR students…
